LED Interior Bulbs

Featured Replies

Hi all, just fitted some LED into my interior light. I've got map lights (retrofitted) so it was a festoon bulb in the centre then two wedge bulbs on each side.

The side bulbs have 4 leds each, the middle considerably more. But sadly 2 leds on each bulb stay on when I lock the car and start the ignition.

Any ideas on what I could do? Is it normal or should I send the bulbs back? Could i add a resistor assuming it would use any battery)?

They need a resistor

i used canbus bulbs on mine as they have inbuilt resistors with no probs so far

Yep non canbus ones will do that

As per holmesie's reply the canbus ones have built in resistors so they don't cause errors
