Audii TT alloys on a fabia VRS? Some advice needed please

Featured Replies

Hi all

I have been offered a set of 16" Audi TT 5 spoke alloys like the one pictured and wondered if they will fit straight onto the fabia? If not what will be needed to make them fit?

I currently have the standard vrs alloys and was hoping i could transfer the tyres (205/45/16) to the new wheels as there is plenty of tread left. Will this be possible?

I have had a look through the fabia alloy archive and don't think I saw anyone running these. They look like TT comps but are smaller.

Has anyone got these on their VRS? If so could you show me a pic to see how they would look. Think they would suit.

Many thanks

These are generally called "Mini Comps" and yes you can swap the tyres from your standard wheels to these without issues and simply bolt them on in their place

should be no problem with doing both, as long as the wheels are 5x100 PCD.

Thanks for all the response, especially the pics. Really helpful, thanks guys.

Unfortunately I'm not getting those wheels now as sold to someone else. So I've been trawling ebay for some alternatives and I have come across these

They are from a 2007 Octavia, 5x100 pattern. Its says they are 6J width whatever that means.

Same question, does anyone know if they will fit and can my tyres be transferred to these?

Many thanks

If they are from a 2007 octavia they will not be 5x100 and will not fit. That shape octavia is 5x112

The info you give is right matt but the wheels in the pic are off a mk1 Octy Elegance (assume a vey late one if 2007!) so will be the correct fitment for the Fabia

They'd bolt straight on no problem and take your existing 205/45/16 tyres.

6J is 6" wide and the J indicates the shape of the wheel on the place where the tyre bead sits on the wheel.

That's brilliant. Thanks PastyBoy, really helpful.

No problem here to help

They do look a bit expensive for what they are though, especially without tyres.

If you are looking for a change (and a cheap change) then anything mk4 Golf, mk1 A3, mk1 Leon, Mk 4 Ibiza, mk1 Octavia, mk1 Bora will fit

These Bora wheels for £150

These Golf wheels for £90

or as luck would have it i've got 2 sets of Seat wheels I'd be happy to part with which would bolt straight on once the rubber was swapped

a set of these

Just out of interest, is anyone running these? I think they would look good but it would be handy to see what they look like on a Fabia before I buy.

Good to know. Thanks again

They are actually one of the few wheels that i've not seen on a Fabia :(
