Featured Replies

Hi there everyone just asking a question about the spare wheel when I ordered the manager said they had two 1.6 TDI's aqua blue twin doors s type down south at the docks waiting both basic spec one with full size spare wheel and one without so opted to get the one with but seen a few people say that it's not actually a full size steel wheel I'm getting 16" alloys so is it a 16" steel wheel

Because its not a space saver wheel.

I think the Skoda spare is a great compromise, it doesn't intrude too heavily on the boot space with a full 225 wheel and it isn't a stupid unicycle wheel that a lot of other manufacturers tend to use. Also, it isn't a rotten can of gunk and a compressor.

The main thing is that its not an undersized wheel and tyre in a lot of skodas.

My Superb Greenline SE runs a 205/55 16 tyre as standard which is the same as the spare i have.

Its a full size spare in so much as it has the same rolling diameter as the 225/18 tyre/wheel
