Bluetooth .....

Featured Replies

I know I asked this a while back, and sorry but I've not been around, but I'm guessing there's a lot more people with citigos and PID's now, who is having Bluetooth problems? i.e. music streaming and making phone calls

I cant use mine at all now, I haven't updated my PID since October though.

Ours works when it wants for phone calls with a Galaxy S3. Dealer will only say "that theres always compatibility issues with some phones !!"

Ok here, works a dream with my Galaxy S plus.

It seemed to find it quite easily

Doesn't like streaming with our iPods have to use the jack plug!

Mine seems to work with my galaxy s3 both phone and PID are all up to date

Running fine with my blackberry - due to change phone next month , no idea which phone im going to get !

I would highly recommend some sort of Android based device, maybe a Samsung Galaxy, or HTC one X depends how big or small you want it?

I'm now downloading the update, my Samsung Galaxy S3 and any other phone just cut off and die now so i'm pretty miffed considering I bought the car as an upgrade!

Apart from that has anyone had experience with the VW Bluetooth system that can be fitted to the dash?

Cheers

Just downloading the update now to see if it makes my S3 connection more stable :peek:

Nope - Just been out for a drive after updating it, still duff, back to SD card and not using my phone while driving, meh

Monkey,

Have you tried a reset?

From the manual...

? Use a thin object to press the Reset key. (Refer to "Description of the navigation device" on page 10)

The software will be restarted. Your settings and your saved destinations and routes will be retained.

This is for the satnav bit but might also work for the other functions.

Yep tried that, unfortunate :(

It's just a shame really that I've gone from a £100 aftermarket Sony headset that worked perfectly every single time to a 62 plate car which cant even carry out the simple task of Bluetooth connectivity just a little frustrating

Have you updated both the PID through NAVIGON Fresh and done an Android Software update on your phone ?

PID Latest Version - 7.10.25

Android Latest Version - 4.1.2

Also try deleting and re-pairing your phone if not already done so.
