That's my Skoda dealer I have been using for about 5 or 6 years, you do realise it is in Northern Ireland? For what it's worth they are spot on in JMM in my opinion.

Might find its been registered as a demo as they get it cheaper then you then sold as used, and a selection done in a similar manor. Or could be they have picked up a lot of the UK demo stock. Diesel Octavia is fairly popular in NI. Odds are if that is the case it might have a GB registration not a superior NI one.
