Rear screen washers - again

Featured Replies

A few days ago the rear screen washer packed up but by repeating the job of using very small drill bit (a No. 68 this time) through the two nozzle holes it was cured. However, also this time I noticed a load of gunge in the vertical tube that the nozzle fits on to. I used a 2 mm drill bit to scour that out and it is all like new again.

By the way, I do not use the drill bits as drills, just as a hand tool gently worked along the hole, a bit like a reamer. Only takes a couple of minutes.
