It is that light, but I have cloth not leather

Saw an L&K in my dealer today, and it looks LUSH.

In recent weeks I've really been driving for economy, makes me wish I'd gone for a comfy, lazy saloon...

Light interior looks lovely, but going by how tricky my vRS seats are to keep clean, my next car will definitetly have leather.

I bought my new 1.9tdi elegance DSG Hatch last Saturday and get it next Friday!!

Dealer (Chatham, Edinburgh) came up with a black one on the Skoda dealer stock list, that was my 2nd choice clour (after stone grey) and the only extra it carried was front parking sensors. Maxi-dot would have been nice but not critical so, being an impatience sort, I decided to go for it reather than wait for a build.

Cars history show it was built on 3rd Sept and landed in UK on 24th so it hasn't hung about in a yard.

It was the only Elegance DSG on the dealer stock list that was an acceptable colour and didn't carry a barrow load of extras - call me cynical but loading up stock cars with extras is a sneaky way to get more bucks.

This will replace my much loved 110 elegance estate, which never let me down......... except when I fed it on unleaded.................................as he disappears sheepishly in to the distance!!

I ordered mine last Saturday' date=' also a 1.9 105PS TDI PD Elegance. Mine is sahara beige with ivory (duo cloth/leather), and the DSG box. I'm waiting for confirmation of the delivery date, but they said 3-4 months. DSG box is to blame for that delay, they said.

What was the reason for the five month wait in your case? Christmas and Easter holidays at the works?.

On Monday, my new Octavia will be exactly one month old. It's wondeful to be finally driving it after a five month wait. It's a 1.9 105PS TDI PD Elegance with MaxiDOT, Multi-Function Steering Wheel and Audience Stereo in Stone Grey with a beige (ivory) interior. I wanted to wait until I had a chance to wash and wax it before posting some pics. There have been a couple of minor niggles but hopefully these will be sorted out soon
