hi, was driving home tonight on a dark road. was doing around 50mph then heard a bang on the right side of the car...dont know if i have hit some thing on the road but at first though i had blowen a tyre but when i pulled over a pipe from the frontmount intercooler was dragging along with oil coming out it. i managed to plod home in like a limp mode with quit alot of black smoke from the exhaust!! cant get a good look as its dark... anyone else had anything like this? thanks

Just sounds likes it's blown a boost pipe off. It'll probably fine if you reconnect the pipe. Oil in the intake system comes from the crankcase which vents vapours back into the system to be burnt through the engine. A lot of people do the "elephant ccv mod" to prevent the oily build up.

Common problem from weak pipes/joints

cheers, hope its just the pipe thats needs connected... i was thinking a blowen turbo or something
