DIY service schedule...

Featured Replies

Hi, thinking about doing my own servicing, or as much as I can anyway. I usually have the work done by a garage.. But a change of circumstances means I have to tighten my belt :( , but at the same time I want to look after my investment. So far I've got the following on my to do list:

Air filter

Cabin/polen filter

Fuel filter

Oil change inc filter

Check brakes, levels etc.

Anything else?? Any advice regarding general lubrication/greasing etc. Does the garage do much else??

Thanks in advance... :)

Lubricate hinges and locks with some white lithium grease.

Thanks.. :)

What’s the age / mileage and fuel type?

Isnt' the easiest thing to refer to the service actions list in the service book and then follow that (assuming you have service book - if not, it'll be available online somewhere).
