Update Move&Fun with new maps, need to pay for subscription?

I finally updated the Move&Fun to the newest software using the memory stick trick (sigh...), and now I want to update to the newest maps. I got a code in the user manual, however, it does not redeem the whole price for new maps. Is this as expected? I thought 2 years with updates were included...

The code in the user manual (if it is FRESHMAPS80) expired 31.12.2012 !!

Must be dependant on when car registered ?

Car was registered 10-1-13

Having said that the pid was in a sealed box so that may have arrived earlier

I had the same problem with the offer having expired.

The start date of the PiD was well before the date we collected the car.

Spoke to our dealer and they swapped the unit for a new one in sealed box.

We were then able to take advantage of the offer with no problem.
