How good in the snow!

Featured Replies

Had a good play in the snow on sunday in the Shropshire Hills, finally beaten by over a foot of snow up hill, out came the chains and off we went again! Unstoppable !octyinthesnow_zps68d73717.jpg

Bah, all melted here really, looks fun.

my 4x4 octy pulled a unloaded 7.5 flat bed the other great car

I think it may be the tyres on the back of mine but I didnt find it very good the other day. Got stuck half way up a small hill... To be fair if the car in front hadn't of stopped I would've been fine :-) . seen a lot of cars do worse recently and even a couple give up and leave the cars.

My vRS was very good last friday going to and coming home from work.

Mine too; Merc C180 coupe and SLGay all sat there slithering side to side, Mini in front (JCW...) not going anywere. Octy vRS foot down and gently up the middle

To be honest even running the height i am and on cheepo tyres I've not got stranded so all good, think the car plows the snow before it gets chance to cause a problem lol

And here's a small vid of what I hear when the snow in the middle of the road has frozen lol

Should send a bill to the council for plowing the roads.

I'm so jealous. My girlfriend uses the car more than me and I didn't get a chance to go out in the snow. I was going to go out and 6am friday and find an empty car park for a bit of skid testing. Unfortunately I had to be in university for a 9am exam!

Portsmouth is full of people who can't drive though so you saved someone crashing into you; it was shocking picking my way through people just sat there revving the tits off it and going no where :(

found mine better with the asr turned off

Hahaha brill. There a lot of a bad drivers here. I'm a cyclist so I get it the worst...Saw a transit pull away today with its backdoors swinging about all over the place. Luckily I was walking when it snowed as its only a short walk to Uni. Nice 7am weatherspoons breakfast whilst the snow fell. :)
