Brakes!

Featured Replies

I think they are exceptional on the Citigo. Had the need to use them twice now in emergency stops, both this week and must say what a relief to have been able to stop so well. One was a parked car just pulling out without even looking as I was about to pass, the other could have resulted in a dead cat had the brakes had not been so good. Both on wet roads the Citigo didn't flinch or skid in the slightest, a very good test of the braking system, tyres fitted and the overall balance of the car.

All I've got to ask is why do cats seem hell bent on commiting suicide even though they can see you are coming?

Because they know that they have nine lives!

I agree, the Citigo's brakes have never let me down.

Although I do agree with you, I did have to carry out a late emergency stop as someone did pull out on me (I was doing the speed limit of 60mph) and it did impress me, however on that occasion I did notice with a full tank of petrol + a tool box in the boot i did have bit of a tank slapper.

The cars rear didnt skid much, but it was noticeable. Along with the sharp application of the horn :D
