On cold mornings mostly , the car can occasionally act like a coil has gone , it's splutters and nearly stalls, but asoon as I blip the throttle its goes back to normal / slightly rough idle . It always has a slightly rough idle ,some days worse than others . Also power deleivery sometimes is not smooth especially low down in the revs / first and second gear , and sometimes feels like a boost surge. I recently changed the bov valve , wich did help with the power delivery , as it was realising the boost whilst accelerator was still down , but it has not fixed it %100 but has definitely helped . I have recently cleaned the maf sensor but it did not seem to make any difference ! The car has been scanned and no faults were found and also reset all the plugs i think ( sorry not sure on the technical terms ) . From what I have read on here , I'm thinking of cleaning the throttle body .

Any other ideas ? P,s it's a vrs and im not to good with technical terms

Have you looked at the vac pipe that runs under the inlet manifold. They decay from the inside out cause of oil. Mine was the same, I replaced the pipe and its all smooth and running perfect. It's a S shaped pipe, you have to feel for it as you won't be able to see it.

Ok thanks for the advice , what am I looking for , splits in the pipe type of thing?
