Heated seat problem

Featured Replies

Has anybody had a problem with the passenger seat heater on the Superb Elegance 2011 model)

Wife used her heated front passenger seat today for the first time - within 1½mikes she could feel it. Switched it off after about 4-5 miles as was getting a bit toasty! Seemingly no issues.

Re my original query.

While the indicator light is on, the seat does not seem to be heating.

Is that with someone sitting on the seat, or are you just testing it?

Both, My passenger first thought it was not heating , I then tried it vacant, and again with a passenger, On this occasion the upper back seemed ok but, I do not think the lower back seemed warm. I did a comparison with the driver seat and, overall it seemed cooler.

Don't really know

I just probed about under the seat -nothing visible but, possibly remade a loose connection.

When next tried --seat heated ok

If it is a loose connection then it is best to find out what the problem is.

heated seats are the slowest i have come across on a car but when they get going they are grrrreat

Agreed, especially with the leather - takes a good few miles to get nice and toasty in cold weather, even on setting '3'.
