Help with fuel temp sensor

Hi guys,

so saturday I had my engine man light come on, so plugged my code reader in and as above that came up,

so I got a new part and went to change it and I then see that it's one of the wires going in to the sensor that has broke,

So question is, how hard is it to change the wires and can I do it myself?? Or will I have to take it to a garage??

Any advice would be greatly appriecated
