i have a 54 plate Octavia that struggles to start when the engine is warm, when it is cold it starts first turn, Any suggestions?

Normally it's the starter motor or the battery if it's a diesel. The starter motor has to crank the engine over at a certain speed once it's hot (think it's an inbuilt safety feature)before the fuel injectors provide any fuel. There's other threads I've seen on this subject too, possibly in the Octy II section?

Result mate. Glad you've solved your problem. The battery was probably the easier and cheaper option too I guess, not that I can take any real credit as I was just sharing the info I read on the forum.
