So, it's been sitting here as inspiration. The original idea behind the Fabia 4x4 project which changed to a Citigo.

But it's time to put it up for sale.

It's a mkI (left hand drive) Fabia convered to 4x4 and running a 1.8t audi lump producing around 250bhp.

This car still has it's Czech Republic MSA logbook.

It has:

Full rollcage

Rear mounted radiator

Large intercooler

Two spare sets of tyres and rims

Spare suspension leg

Spare bonnet

Two new front wings and front bumper

Several spare driveshafts

It does need a bit of TLC or conversion work if you want to use it on the road.

Spare panels are available from the Czech Republic at fairly sensible prices, if you want to replace the rear panels or remove the rear radiator. I know of two sources.

I will also include a full Lexan window kit, meaning you only need the windscreen if you want to put glass in it.

This was used for racing in the Czech Autocross competition during 2010 and 2011.

It's got the standard VAG setup, but I believe it's been altered to give a 50:50 drive split.

If I had £5k spare I so would buy this. My mates were telling me to buy it when I told them about the car whilst my turbo was being removed on Saturday....

I also got a good look under the back end to see how tough installing rear haldex etc would be.... not easy

It's an odd thing to sell though.

It's not suitable for a lot of people, but for the few it's rather well priced IMO.

Obviously I'm losing money on what I paid as I had it brought over from the Czech Republic.

In Europe you'll be lucky to find anything like this under 8-10k.
