Posting this for a mate of mine doing the above conversion.

Engine and loom all in place, fired it up, all running sweet.

He's doing the mk4 dash into the mk2 so the Immo is all sorted etc.

Tried doing a scan as theres a few warning lights so we were going see what was needed to be wired up.

We got no commo between the ecu and VCDS.

The ABS and Airbags ones are fine as we ain't connected all sensors yet.

Anyone got a clue as to why no commo. Probably something really simple that we have overlooked like when the engine wouldn't start it was a fuse lol

is the immo fitted at the mo (with the clocks) this would stop it talking if not
