If they need refurb they aren't worth a bean.... Porsche caliper rebuild kits cost a small fortune, before you go buying them measure the pistons and do the maths, there's quite a lot of important science behind choosing the right caliper to match them to the existing master cylinder.

I think they're 911 rears. Not sure if they're a straightforward fit on VAG platform, I *think they work in conjunction with 330mm discs.

if they are rears, you need to be careful, as they have smaller pistons but that don't work well on some vag mc's iirc, look at what tom said above, choose carefully.

There are plenty of brembo gt kits or lcr kits (basically the same) that come up for sale for under £500 all in.

The paint job on them looks dreadful, covering loads of bits.

If that's the attention they got, I'd leave them well alone.

they have literally painted everything, inc all rubber seals by the look of it..

don't be led by the name, they are just brembos, that are fitted to a huge amount of oe cars

True but the fitment can vary accordding to how the were fitted to the car they were made for and the availability of the bracket/carrier for the desired application.

yes thats very true, there are lots of differences between calipers, i was just trying to warn adam, just cos it says porsche doesn't mean they are the best, have seen people put porsche decals on 7 series calipers, basically there are a lot of four pots out there. Its def best to wait and find the right caliper for the job!

Thanks again for the help!
