New L&K Owner

Featured Replies

Hi

Reluctantly traded the VRs PD170 in last week due to the DPF getting clogged and needing replacing and got myself a 2006 1.9TDi L&K Estate in metallic silver.

Really pleased with it, picked it up with 37k and full history and it is mint, excellent service from the dealer and a bit of luck being in the right place at the right time with the car.

Columbus went straight in no problems and linked up to the Maxidot without coding, only slight issue is the track search/radio search buttons do not work :( but have got round this with using the Maxidot interface and no biggie. The seats are really comfortable (getting old) and look great in black.

Thought it would be really slow compared to the VRs but in the real world it is not that bad, although am considering a little engine remap (of course not whilst in warranty :hi: ) and would like to get some 17 inch pegasus alloy's but hard to justify at the mo as it has 4 new tyres so will leave that for a bit I reckon.

Easily getting 45 to 50 mpg so happy with that, if I am honest is does feel a bit more agricultural than the VRs but in no way totally unrefined.

Cheers
