watermarks every day but flip site is have 1 warm place in the car all day, worried about them breaking though, any fix ideas ?

They're on a timer.... 5 mins iirc. It can be adjusted via vag com, apparently it's very easy for them to 'burn out' though.

Just rotate the switch up or down to position adjustment and the heating turns off.

They are timed via the ecu

You can adjust timing to anything you like via vcds. Most are programmed to be on all the time from the factory
