Featured Replies

2007 Octavia VRS PD standard suspension set up and was wondering if this fitment will go on with no issues?

5x112, et32, 8x19

Any advice will be appreciated

should also say tyres will be 235/35

I would think they will have quite a bit of poke on the front at that offset and width and I wouldn't be surprised if you get a bit of rubbing.

I'd say you've got a very good chance of having problems at the front...

I run 215/35/19 on 8x19 et 44. So you'll be an extra 12mm out towards the arch with the rim, then an extra 10mm again with the tyre - 22mm in total.

Based on the way mine sit in the arches, I'd say you'll definitely foul with an extra 22mm of poke - Sorry buddy :(

Yep, as said you're running the wheel an extra 22mm further from the hub, compared with standard, and you're running a standard suspension height?

You'd need a low coilover/air setup to get that working right IMO, and rubbing would still be an issue.

Do these larger wheels increase your turning circle? I know on the new ford focus for example if you have the 18" wheels then the steering rack is limited and your turning circle increases by at least a meter.
