Right I'm planning on getting a longlife exhaust made but I'm unsure on tail pipe design and layout, can any of you give me any inspiration/pics as to what looks good? Seen the on the shelf kits and I like them but sometimes it pays to be different. I'm thinking cat back at the moment until funds allow for a sports cat

Difficult to describe, but how about what I had on my G60: straight round with a slightly larger straight round welded around it. Only the inner pipe is actually functional, the other is just for the look. Make sense? Ends up looking fairly oem, but classy.

This is the closest I could find, but it would be two straight bits of pipe, none of the slopey bit inside and straight, not angled. They can make it with the straight pipe they build everything with.

I may be wrong but I'm sure the estate and hatch have the same exhaust ?!? People on here will tell you otherwise if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure they are the same

Liking the round square, perhaps a little bigger though. Has anyone tried side exits? Thinking of a shallow rectangle either side by the rear doors. Can anyone photoshop that as I'm useless with computers

Gonna be noisy cos you can't use as many boxes, and hot on the paintwork unless you give yourself a metal plate to deflect the heat. Not a good look.

Yeah true, was just a thought as would like something different to the norm, I think the rounded square is def a top runner but also thinking of having the ovals either side.
