Can anyone help me out with a Numberplate bulb Problem on my Octavia please?

The bulb warning light is on the dash so i took the car to my local Skoda dealer paid for a diagnostics check which came back as a faulty wire connection to that end they couldn't tell me where the fault was and they would have to take each panel off one at a time to find the fault. Has any one else came across this problem or know of a quicker and cheaper option? Thank you

Had similar problems with the no plate lights on my 03 Octy estate.

Cure was strip and clean bulb holders which had crapped up over time.

WD40 & a toothbrush worked for us.

You can get replacement bulb holders off ebay if yours are to bad to clean
