Steering Wheel Control no longer works after ICE Install

I've just had new speakers and amp installed, and now the steering wheel control for my Kenwood DNX521DAB no longer works even though the ICE installer said he didn't disconnect anything from the head unit. So I am now without steering wheel volume adjustment, track select, and rear parking visual indication!

Is this something he has to reset in my car's software?

I dont think the kenwood is designed to work with steeringwheel controls

It is - it worked fine until the ICE installer somehow "lost" the linking
