R32 Front ARB and Neuspeed 28 mm Rear ARB is an excellent combination.

R32 farb maybe cheaper but buying the eibach as a pair saves a fair bit of cash as its £200 for one or £300 a pair!

If just going for a white line on its own, which thickness is best? 22 or 24mm?

Been said a thousand times before but there are none better than others as such. They have different characteristics. Best thing you can do is try somebody else's setup. if you cant , it depends what you want. A 22 whiteline will make a difference. Some might find that a stiffer bar will be a touch too far and negatively impact on the cars handling (oversteer) but some like that so it's down to your preference.

Because my girlfriend and others drive my car the odd time I didn't want anything unpredictable in the wet so I have a H&R rear bar with stock front and it is very nice, feels like what the vrs should have had from factory.

RARB definitely makes the car feel like it's turning in sharper, when I had mine fitted it was very noticeable. Mine handles very well know, the limiting factor is the ditch finders on the rear though lol

Michael1 which size arb have you got?

Ive kinda come to the same conclusion, girlfriend drives the car and take parents, grand parents etc so full on mods will make that awkward!

Just read my last post there, it came across a bit harsh ha! :giggle:

22mm H&R but that wouldn't necessarily mean the 22mm Whiteline is the same. I've never had a whiteline so can't say but I imagine it is fairly similar.

If you want a whiteline maybe wait for somebody who has a 24mm with standard front and see what they say.

R32 FARB and Neuspeed 28 mm RARB will make the car so sure footed that your girlfriend and grandparents will thank you for the modifications.

Yeah, as group1rs said, as long as you upgrade the front to match there is no harm in a stiffer rear bar but you'll have a very different car if you just ''upgrade'' the rear bar. It doesn't make the car uncomfortable or harsh. If anything, a good setup will be more comfortable.

Main reason I didnt go for upgraded front and rear on this car was a lack of funds at the time.

That's for the advice guys!

Would a matching pair of arbs like h&r or eibach be as good as a R32 front and 28 neuspeed rear?

I want to get the best out of the standard suspension really as now probably not going to change it.

I've just got a 25mm whiteline RARB and standard FARB, it's not tail happy on lift off at all mate.
