Just had car tinted what do you all think (plus its clean for a change)

I like it! I've got 80% rear and 50% front, wish I had 70% rear though. I love the privacy!

I've got tints too. Didn't like them originally but they have grown on me.

Thanks for that but the film is the legal tint the company that did it showed me everythink it looks darker cause off the back being tinted

Yes and since glass doesn't let 100% of light through anyway, a tint film that lets through 70% is still too much.

Have you had a light meter shone through since tinting?

If they are like mine then they seems to show up really dark in pics. They don't really look tinted in real life though. There's a few cars floating around my way with like limo on the fronts.

As the factory glass on a lot of cars already has a slight tint then putting 'legal' tint over the top can cause them to be illegal. They also seem to attract more attention on the basis that you have something to hide or worth hiding irrespective of how you drive.

Whatever you fit it's worth checking the thickness of the films used, I fitted police spec blast proof clear films to my last car after someone stole the hard top. Cheap films aren't much cheaper than expensive ones but the difference in an accident or break in is massive.
