Big Deano what work was needed on the front I got a set of borbet t 16x9 all round coming on Monday

I'm running 10s and 9s with 20 spacers soon to be 30mm

I have mentioned this before but i know the lad u bought ur skoda from + the wheels are 8" front + 9.5" on rear.. with 20mm adapters making them et20 all round.

Just thort id mention this so know one gets miss informed + fits the wrong wheels ;)

9j borbets have been fit to the front of a fabia before but poked too much imo.. link below to pics :)

9s are fine for the rear aslong as offsets are right ;)

I thort I mentioned before that they are 10" rears and 9" fronts considering I bought new tyres for them and had them measured . ;)

Nothing needed on mine mate there 17"s aswell I cant understand why people are commenting on my wheel size and saying its difficult to run 9"s as mine catch on full lock only mate ..

And matt not sure how he would know there 9" unless he measured like I did as there's no J markings on the back so 10" and 9" are correct

U measured them outer lip to outer lip which isnt how u measure wheel widths.. its the inner to inner which is the "J" number.. which should be stamped on the wheels anyway.

Even if i hadn't have been told by the person who bought the wheels + fit them to the car which u have now bought (which i have).. u can tell from ur photos they are not 10j rears or 9j fronts.

Sorry i dont mean to be argumentative just dont want people getting the wrong impression of what can + cant be fitted to the fabia..

I have a 8j bbs lm rep lying around in my room so iv taken a couple of pics to demonstrate measuring the widths..

This is a pic of the 8j stamped in the back

This is the correct way to measure the width showing 8inches (20cm)

And this is what happens when u measure from the outer lips.. showing 9 inches when its an 8 inch rim.

I know how to measure and no they do not have the size stamped on them have no idea why even contacted rays to find out why but no reply as of yet and yes there 10" and 9" fronts

Pics of these 10j and 9j's please big deano?

Rays usually just have a sticker inside the wheel and most the time if they've been refurbed then the sticker is gone.

Look nice though mind :)
