Can I install an USB/aux in ?

Featured Replies

I have just per gases an 06 plate vrs and it has sat nav. Not sure what model the sat nav is but all I do know is there is no sd card slot.

I like to use my iPhone to play music through the car as its just easier than anything else, can anyone suggest what I can do?

Would prefer a USB so I can charge my phone

Take a pic or find out what model it is. Even if its only standard aux in you can get a cable which will charge from the cig port and also plug into the Aux port.

Failing that i fitted a connects2 box to mine which is just an aux in port, means i can plug a multitude of things in, very handy since i got rid of my iphone last month haha !!

Can't take a pic just yet as I don't pick the car up until Tuesday, like I said it doesn't have a sd slot if that helps?

I think that radio unit is Amundsen, becouse Columbus had SD slot.

Just googled both and it seems like neither :-S

OEM sat nav on an 06 plate would be Nexus

Yeah I just found out it is nexus, any way of doing what iv asked

My 07 vRS had an aux port in box under central armrest (known as "jumbo box"). This was included in a free option pack offer, but may have been an extra on earlier cars.

If you could get hold of a jumbo box with aux I expect this could be retrofitted. Sorry, but can't offer any suggestions about USB.
