whats your "other" car?

Featured Replies

being a forum full of a lot of diesels that can sometimes be the daily for a 2nd car or a weekend toy that they use and abuse, i wondered if anyone had another car they save for those sunny and dry days on a weekend?

Me and the misses use the VRS as a daily and a long distance goer, our other car is a Focus ST 3.

Its not the perfect weekend car but it is fun! its what she wanted, i wanted an Evo 4/5 or a mk1 focus RS but you know... women! :D she just couldnt live without her comforts and didnt want something unreliable.

Its had a dreamscience race remap, CIA (or what ever its called) induction kit, baffles removed from the exhaust and top range tyres.

just waiting for a sunny day to fit the lowering springs.

Its running 280bhp so nearly at the 300 mark! it'll need a new clutch first.

anyhoo. here it is: (also thought i'd show off my camera skillz)

You mean the standard lights... Well, If they are blinding that much, I'd take it up with Ford ;)

IMO it is more a trick of the camera making them brighter than they actually are.

With you on that, rather than jumping to conclusions, it's worth considering other aspects, for example this dazzle is common if you are not using a polarising filter.

NIce car btw.

It's battered and bruised (by previous owner ;) ) Honda Civic 1.6 vtec but only on 23k miles.

Will be going into a body shop (anyone want to give me quote?!) to be fixed and sold on for a tidy profit as this car was given to us :D

Awesome... but by the time I pay his airfare ....

But of course, completely standard projector headlights are chavvy and blind people from their "dazzling shine" and its totally not a lens effect coupled with a dark atmosphere.

by your views I'm assuming your S3 is chavvy too with its projectors as standard? along with 90% of cars on the road?

If i had my fogs on then i'd agree with you, but i don't, so i don't.

Nissan 370z - just for the fun of it.

we looked into a 350Z

then we saw the road tax, MPG and cost of tyres... nearly cried with joy from the sound of the Nismo exhaust though!

Daily driver for work is the Fabia, weekends is the Octavia as family transport and for play-days it's the Mk1 at the front below that I've owned for the getting on for 15 years:
