Standard Clutch Question

Featured Replies

I no this has been probably covered but what is the max amount of torque my standard clutch could deal with on a day to day basis with a remap?

300ft/lb max.

As above around 300 lb/ft, if you get it mapped then be careful not to apply to much power until after 2k rpm.

Mines currently having some work done which is likely to see a lot more than 300lbft of torque being produced and I'm hoping the standard clutch will hold, the tuner says it might, might not.

Time will tell. I'll update this at some point.

I'm sure Sachs use to say 280 for both clutch and flywheel.

If you have 300lbsft and you use it, it will eventually slip.

I'd say 260/270 if you really want it to last.
