Where Can I Get My Fabia Wrapped?

Featured Replies

Hi basically i live in Leicestershire and really want to get my car wrapped in matt black.

Just wondering if anyone knows of the best place in the leicestershire area to get my car wrapped? Pluss possibly and idea of the cost?

Cheers guys!

I got a quote of £750 to give you an idea

Can't remember the company now... Think they were Manchester way

Always have a look at the standard of the work first.

Quality varies a lot.

750 thats not bad, did you have it done? If so did they do a quality job? I'm looking at a place called Carbon Skin Car Wrapping.

There standard looks decent on their gallery.

If PWPRO don't come back to you then feel free to contact Robbie at Valet Magic, it's not exactly close but their work is well documented:

Haha okay cheers bud ;)

PW Pro and Valet Magic are rival companies on the GTROC.

Both are good.

I have a Valet Magic wrap currently, but having seen the way PW Pro do the wrap by taking off body panels where possible I believe the finish to be better. Valet Magic do what most wrappers do and cut the material on the car. Doing this it's not possible to get quite the same fine detail.

Most wraps look good from a distance, it's up close where you start to see the differences.

I'm wondering why buy an SE and then wrap it?

(Not trying to anger anyone here - Just wondering why wrap an SE?)

I guess it's like any car, why would you want to wrap any car in the first place?

I was thinking the same, as Race Blue is probably my favorite car colour, but I'm guessing the OP wants to do something a bit different. :)

Hi to all those who want a wrap.

My occupation is vehicle wrapping,I been wrapping vehicles for other 10 years now. Just a few pointers to getting the right job.

Cheapest is not always the best, ask your self what materials are they using there are some poor cheap materials on the market. Make sure they are using a cast vinyl not calendered vinyl. Make sure they are stripping off handles mirrors etc and not just cutting around them. Cleaning vehicle down with panel wipe or iso. On checking over after completed wrap make sure no flapping edges they should all be heated down. Make sure no patches or they may call them fillets there would be no reason for this apart from making mistake and can't be bothered to change panel. Also no small or large creases, no splits and joins. Check that the vinyl as not been over stretched around bumper area and top of wings. If a matt black wrap check make sure no shinny areas if so a cheap material used and over stretched. No large bubbles, small bubbles will disappear with in a couple of weeks as the vinyl settles. Are they wrapping just the outer body work or are they quoting for all the door shuts as well.

i got a quote off pwpro for it all and that was 1200, they seem like they do a good job, included in there quote to me about taking handles mirrors off ect too

I don't know of them so can't comment. For £1200 they should be using very top end materials and doing all door shuts.

Oh no.... Never even thought about the damage a wrap can inflict. Hope you get it sorted.

The chap im using atm is cheap and is using hexis stuff. He has taken trims.mirrors handlea etc off too amd for a octy in gloss white and gloss blk bits he is charging 850. Which I think is a steal. Heat shrunk window tints too at 170 for all windows. Check out the progress so far
