Amundsen + Questions

Featured Replies

Afternoon All,

Right I've just got a blackline, got the mic for the Amundsen+, fitting it tomorrow and got a guy coming to code it in (Vagtronics Scunthorpe).

I'll be spending some considerable time in the car over the coming years, using it as my Company Car and taking it well into 80k/100k @ 3years, so I want music on demand to pass the time!

I've started using the SD card slot which is great, but I want to know exactly what I'll need to do to also add myself an iphone input to the stereo (iphone 5). I update my iphone all the time with music but the SD cards need MP3 versions of my current iTune collection etc so I know I'm going to neglect updating the SD over the course of time, which I wont my iPhone. Plus with the Iphone and SD I can store more music!!

All I want to know is what do I need to buy / do to add an iphone cable (which hopefully charges an iphone5?!) to the amundsen+?

Secondly, does the phone Bluetooth on the amundsen support Dual mode i.e more than one phone connected at once? I've got my Iphone and also a crapberry work phone. I had both connected to my parrot at once in my previosu VRS

Cheers in advance

You need one of the kits daemon666 was selling either glove box or armrest for the midi input. But also the head unit will play music over Bluetooth. As for more than one phone I have no idea

You can stream music from the iphone 5 using the bluetooth option on the media menu once its been coded. No need for anything else other than a charging cable, which can pug into the lighter socket.

You can pair multiple phones but only one can be active.

Hope that helps.
