coilovers for

Featured Replies

When fk had that sale on I thought what can I loose so I purchased some of the coilover for non vrs models. They were weighted correctly (i think) ;-) and planned to connect droplinks to the wishbones. Fitted it all last week and I must say im pretty chuffed with the result! Im on a really tight budget so it all worked out £125 including new top mounts and bearings. Im sure someone will tell me its unsafe or it should'nt be done but it drives really well and pretty comfy which is spot on for what iv spent. Opinions welcome people :-P

Sounds like a bargain to me mate! Hope its good quality :)

if they are weighted properly, why are they for a non vrs model car, as the vrs is weighted differently to the non vrs model cars?

the quality isn't 2 bad mate 2 be honest. Cant complain for that price ;-)

I suppose worst come to worst you can refit your old stuff if you still have it?

Well think about it this way, much would it be to get standard like oem suspension, alot more i think, and you get coilies better handling ect... i had standard and then got coilovers it's like a wet dream come true for corners :D

One of my front shocks was knackered so it would probably cost more than that for a new from the stealers. I sold the crappy, cheap lowering springs that were on the car so I payed even less.

where you get them from

Im running my octavia vrs kw coilovers on my leon fr tdi!

Really not recommended but in all honesty they are as good on the leon as they were on the octavia

i don't see what all the fuss is, it the fit, then they fit, if you like then you like them, simples!

Front OEM vRS shocks are about £70 each from TPS, so yes. No probably about it. It would cost more.
