Hi Guys I have just signed up for the National Mega Meet on July 28th (see link)

i thought it would be a good Idea to meet up at Knutsford services and convoy down from there. it starts @ 8am and it is a 1hr 40 min drive from Knutsford. If we meet for 6:15 and leave & 6:30 (early start i know) we should be there for 8ish. we can stop at services along the way after Knutsford Ie Sandbatch.

Good idea. Convoys are always fun.If other motorway services are nearer for others going we could collect cars along the way. Just post up your service area and we will work out eta's.

I would'nt mind a slice of this if we could get there in time. Would a 5-15am start from Bury be enough. Do you go via the M6 tollroad?.

You'll do Bury>Knutsford in 35 mins, especially at that time of the morning. 

 

So I'd leave Bury at 0545 if it were me.

I was probably going to avoid the M6 toll tbh ( can spend more on much needed caffine then :p).

I'm up for meeting up with the convoy, 6:15 shouldn't be a problem but if I'm not there it's safe to assume I've overslept and will see you all at Gaydon

Looks like I've had a family enforced change of plans for the night before so unlikely to be meeting up with the convoy now  :think: I'll see you all there!

Im up for it but it adds 25mins to the journey. I think it may be better to see what people want to do on the day. Rather than trying to sort it out over the tinter web, would make it more of a sight for general peeps.if we stock to the times we have arranged we will be able to do both.
