AVG multi computer anti virus. Is there a time limit?

Featured Replies

My dad got AVG for the families computers, I havnt got round to installing it on mine yet, is there a time limit I have to do it in? It was for 3 computers and mine is the last one.

I'm not sure about AVG but Kaspersky starts from the time of installation on the first machine. So take 8 months to install on the others and they'll only get the remaining 4 months worth.

There's no time-limit to installing, however the license will have an expiry date, based on the date of registration of the first machine, regardless of when you install the others.

Effectively it's one license for 3 PCs, not 3 separate licenses.

If you like AGV,why not look at the free versions . or those of other companies .

Do people still pay for AV software for the home?

How odd....

Microsoft Security Essentials is free and does the job just fine.
