DLR not with Bi-xenon headlights with adaptive cornering

Featured Replies

The new Elegance has Bi-Xenon cornering headlights.

I have noticed that the DLR's do not now work, expect when cornering.

If I turn active-cornering off, and enable daylight running lights using the options it makes no difference.

Any anyone else managed to get their DLR's working ?

The lights are set to 'auto', if I set the lights to OFF then will they work.

I like the DLR's as I can spot the wife behind me when she is towing the caravan and I'm on the motorcycle.

DLR's go off when you turn the sidelights on.

When cornering the FOG light illuminates, not the DRL!

As above - the DRLs only work when the headlights are off, so if you are in Auto and the lights are on then no DRLs. Active cornering foglights use the foglights, not DRLs... both are housed in the same light, but the top 1/3 of the lit is the DRL and the lower 2/3 is the foglight. It is impossible to have the fog and DRL on together (since, to have fogs on you must have lights on).

Are the DRL on or off in the maxidot menu :wonder:

Turning off the cornering only disables the movement of the headlights not the corner fog; otherwise as above.
