Hi,

Any tips for fitting ARB drop links? Took the old ones off and smothered the hell out of the new link and the bar in washing up liquid and spray grease. Wheels are full lock and still i can't get it on at all. Tried a pry bar but there isn't really anywhere to put it. Don't really fancy moving the CV out of the way either.

Tried pushing with all my might, twisting it as I push and it only slips on about 1cm then slowly slides off anyway.

Swearing at it and degrading it multiple times didn't seem to work either.

so the link is just sliding off the end of the anti roll bar?? haha you wait till you try to bolt it to the track control arm....

Aye, I get it on about 1.5cm then take a little break cause I'm knackered and then it just slides off at it's own accord annoyingly. Haha, yeah I know what you mean, I've done one before on the diesel, was a nightmare! Mind you, that was after I tried fitting to a non ARB wishbone

What i would have done is got some 40 grit paper and sanded the paint off the end of the roll bar

I'll try that tomorrow Tom, cheers. Lost my rag with it and just cable tied the ARB out of the way til my Dad can maybe give us a hand to pry the bar into a more convenient place or something.

Drives okay to be honest, doesn't roll that much more, just its a bit annoying having to like 'counter roll' yourself in turns.
