but ive heard of some companies give a price then when collected they add VAT on then very sly

no near durham he popps the bead correctly so inside the wheel gets done front and back only inside the tyre doesnt get done but you dont see thst anyway

VRS Alloy refurbed today by Romax - excellent quality - powder coated and very close colour match. Will use again.

As so many I had heard many good reports

My Alloy wheels are 18” Porsche turbo copies

The wheels were in good condition but lacquer had failed so aluminium had oxidized on all for wheels.

I paid around £ 85 per wheel to have wheels diamond cut and re lacquered.

After only 300 miles all four wheels had corrosion under lacquer. Note no other damage to wheels and car is dry stored.

When I reported this I was told NO GARUNTEE. The lacquer was obviously applied incorrectly or a faulted batch. He blamed the fact my wheels were copies and not original (there is a lot of after market wheels out there)

As the company refuses to discuss the problem I have had to take legal action.

I hit a bad pot hole last week, burst my tyre and bent one of my alloys, took a chip out of it etc.

Tony in westerhope (alloy fix) gave me a spare set of alloys to use on my car while he straightend mine out and refurbed them. I'll post pictures up tomorrow.
