Heating problems

Featured Replies

I have a problem with my 2012 Fabia TSI, the climate control warms up the cabin far too much.

Starting the car from cold with the ACC on 21 degrees celsius and AUTO-mode, but when the car is starting to blow hot air into the car it wont stop, it keeps blowing until it gets hard to breath. Then after about 5-10 min of full heat it reacts with turning on cold air until it finds the right temperature.

When it has found the right temperature it works great, and in warm weather it works fine all the time.

No error codes in the systems are found, and they have changes the climate-unit and two indoor sensors. But nothing helps.

Anybody with the same problem that know what it can be maybe?

Have you tried it with AUTO off??

Yes, no difference with AUTO off. And annoyingly when it's in for repair the problem doesn´t appear so they can understand the problem.

Can there be a extra PTC heater even on a TSI? The heat comes really fast aswell, and when it get´s as warmest sometimes there´s a burnt smell aswell.
