Ex Breadvan Civic Owners - rear washer jet help?

Featured Replies

Just wondered if anyone on here was an ex breadvan Civic owner and ever managed to find replacement rear washer jet nozzles. My mum has an 03 plate Civic and lost the jet from the end of the wiper arm shaft a months ago. Checked with the dealer and it's only available with the whole motor assembly and will cost about £175 to fix!

I've done an internet trawl and seen the suggestion that a BMW 1-Series nozzle will fit but could do with confirmation or other suggsetions (VW Polo nozzle maybe). I'm guessing they are Valeo OEM...

Thanks in advance

Check the multiple Civic Type Rs that are breaking on eBay, as it's not a sought-after part there'll be one available.

Theres plenty of them sat in salvage yards, I'm sure you can easily get one for under £50 then its not too hard to replace if you know you way around a socket set.

Yep cheers guys - I've also come to the conclusion a scrapper is probably the answer - just seems a bit daft for what is a 10p part as she only needs the nozzle - weill have a look on the breakers on ebay though! ta

I just wrote an essay on a problem which i thought you had but i read it wrong lol

But yeah your right you have to buy a whole unit as they dont sell the nozzles seperatly.

Just got to your local scrappy with some pliers and pull one out. They come out easy enough
