Heater control On or Off

Featured Replies

Our friend is having problems with the heater temp control in her Citigo Elegance.

She says it's either Hot or Cold ,and she can't modulate the temp on the rotary knob.

The Dealer has been no help so far.

Has anyone else had any problems heaterwise?

No problem on my Citigo, but this is no help to you.

If the dealer can't help, maybe try Skoda UK to see if there are any known problems.

Hope you/they get it fixed.

Had an Octy that did that once, heater flap control motor was faulty IIRC.

In this weather you need the heat on max anyway. I certainly always have my heat on max and the blower on in any car i drive, except in the one week of summer we have in this country.

Blimey,I would fry if I did that!! Even in this weather, I only have the heat on max for about five to ten minutes, then turn it down to the half way point where it stays for the rest of the journey.

yeah, i do the same as "snuggles" - once the car is nicely heated up i turn it down to about half.

Definitely sounds faulty. Maybe try a different dealer
