New Motor auto with clutch

Featured Replies

Ever drove a Auto vehicle with a Clutch. Think that's like having a Dog and Barking yourself. Yet come Friday my new Company vehicle has just that. Any thoughts on what it is, answers below, :-)

Sons attractor has a CVT box and a clutch for the rear power take off, does that count?

Used to drive an eaton box in artics only used clutch to pull off. But also more recently some Mercedes artics have auto shifter with a clutch, makes a sound like a machine gun if you change gear too fast for it in protest..... Highly crap tbh!

This is the badger, preselect gear then clutch in and out to engage it emits an annoying computerish click each time to let you know its worked (like you wouldn't know.....

Listen for the annoying as hell sound it makes at 1:40 ish bahhhhhhhhhh

Its a Scania R400 Opticruise, I think it will be underpowered for running at 40 TONNE. Currently have a 420 Manual and that struggles on big hills

We run a few 450's (I think, possibly 420) fully auto with no clutch.

They don't struggle grossing at 44 tonne dude
