digitally display the actual speed of travel

Featured Replies

anyone know anything about this i found on ebay?

Do you own a Skoda Octavia, Superb or Fabia which is fitted with Climate Control? For 99p I will email you instructions on how to digitally display the actual speed of travel, that is sent from your ECU instead of the the reading displayed on your speedometer with it's factory built-in percentage error. There is a full list of spec this item covers you can change the temp display in either deg c or f , There is at least 100 different display things to check out, you will not feel let down with this, You will also be able to display other varied ECU information and diagnostic features. This info includes accurate readings of Engine Coolant Temperature, RPM etc. This info is supplied free of charge. No tools or equipment are necessary, it is activated/deactivated in seconds and is completely harmless to your car.

Don't know anything about it, but does sound very interesting...

Have a search, this has been extensively, and I mean extensively covered in the archives.

Anyone who pays for this information on eBay is a mug. Five minutes with google will turn up the information for free. Probably on Briskoda.

ah!

It's not actual speed anyway as it's still dependant on wheel/tyre size etc.

When compared to GPS it's still overeading by a few %

Cheers

Very true, its only the same speed signal that goes to the dash insert.

Apparentley, on Leon's with climate control, you can get the display to read all sorts of things your ECU processes - revs, boost pressure etc etc...

The digital climatronic has an LCD display so it can display things - the climatic one in the Fabia does not :D
