might sound abit of a daft question. but does anyone know what plastic the front vrs bumpers are made from?

i know its abs plastic, but i asked my mate to rob me a piece from his work and he said if it wasnt the right type of abs then it wouldnt bond correctly? :S

i, on the other hand, have absolutely no idea what he's talking about, so if someone could shed some light onto this for me, id appreciate it

rubbish!!!! plastic welding plastic is all the same doesnt make no diffrence once heated it all bonds.

if i remember right thermo setting is plastic that once moulded cant be remoulded

but it depends what your doing with it

but all plastic can be plastic welded mate

well initially the plan is to smooth out the fog light areas. but i wanted to use more plastic than fibreglass/filler if possible. as i want to ber able to cut back into them.
