my friend is selling a set of passat springs. would they fit my superb (1.9tdi) not? its the 3B (B5) shape passat and is the v6 diesel engine if that makes a difference.

they are just what i need to make my car sit better on the new alloys. and seeing as he would let me have them cheap its worth asking

Don't know about the difference between Passat and Superb, but I know that V6 engine is heavier than your R4. So consider that there will be less lowering, because the springs are meant to heavier v6 engine.

They will fit but would be slitly stiffer thats all

They will fit,i have mine off from a passat,and is nothing whrong with then!In fact is superb
