Why would you want to fit wider wheels to the back of a FRONT wheel drive car?

helpful... anyone know a proper answer?

Welcome to the forum.

Enjoy your car.

Worth a post in the Fabia 1 section where you might get more replies than you have done here.

Is this a Mk1 or a Mk2 Fabia? I don't know if it makes a difference, but it might.

You might have more success in getting a useful answer if you ask in the appropriate forum.

ive got a 9j et 26 IIRC on the back of my fabia

Weedon,

Have they drawn you to any unwanted attention from the police?

george

not at all, had stretched on my previous car aswell, if im correct the law states that if the tyre tread is underneath the arch, it is legal.

It's for looks and stance, easily done.

I had 8.5's on the rear of my old Ibiza fr and 7.5's on the front. Rears had an offset of 12 iirc and fronts were 32.
