Its prob been asked 1000 times on the forum but the puddle light etc doesnt work on my drivers door on my 04 octy vrs... I no its a common fault with the microswitch. But yesterday the central looking will lock. But not open the car. U have to use the key. Is this also because of the door latch? Need to no before i order i new latch. Cheers

Order a new latch mate, there is a thread in here with an ebay link for one for £40 delivered, Mine turned up today and if the weather holds out i will be doing it on sunday.

The signs all show to micro switches, you can tare down and replace the micro switches only but i thougt for the sake of 40 notes just replace the whole unit.
