Hi Scott. I'm neary near you I'm in hull. . I picked my black 53 plate up yesterday an drive back from liecester. Nice drive. Easy got to 130 but stopped.

Haha, mines from Lincoln, took it on a test drive and hit 90 thinking I was only doing about 60 before I looked at speedo. Whoopsy! Glad I've got a nice clean licence to play with.....might need it!

Sweet. So far I've seen a yellow one with black wheels and there is also a 52 plate red one round the corner from me.

The fuel consumption has surprised me so far, only used a quarter of a tank driving back from Lincoln and having a general play yesterday and this morning before work. Only realised this morning it has cruise too which will come in handy on the long journeys!

Think I might take it for a map in the next few weeks as there is a VAG place in Scunthorpe called VAGnostics. Don't know if anyone here can recommend it or not though? Already ordered a silicon turbo inlet pipe and hopefully a panel filter next week. That will be about as far as I go with engine modding though I think. Don't want silly power with unreliability.

....and where is Melton?!

Melton is about 6 miles outside hull on the a63. If you come accross the bridge and head onto a63 towards brough, its the first turn of. Take you bout 20 mins to get there :-D

Do u know times etc? Would be decent to see some other vrs's and what people have done to theirs- totally new to forced induction engines, always had alfas in the past but seriously fed up with the huge repair bills!

Everybodys meeting at sandpiper at 7pm. Bit of grub and a drink as ive been told its curry night aswell
