Does anyone fancy going over to Waxstock on the 7th July in Peterborough? It's great if you are a budding car detailer!

Maybe even get a stand if there's enough interest?

Good man! Doesn't look like there's much interest here for it but I'll be helping out with the Bears Wax Factory stand so you'll see my Fabia knocking around somewhere...

I competed in the main hall last year so aiming to be in there again maybe this time with my fabia and not a customers car

See if Bears Wax will have yours as a demo car inside. I know the show was looking for new ideas from last year

If not ill probably be found helping Chemical Guys who should be there this year

Missed this last year and looking to go this year. Probably in the mini though unless I get the paint sorted on the fabia. If there is a brisky gathering I may be tempted to get the old man to drive the fabia for me

That is lush mate! Mine shall return this year with a more retro look and but more power. Finish my loom tidy today and then my spotless engine can go back in

Had an awesome day in the gorgeous weather  Picked up 2nd place with my mini in the classic car class of the arrive and shine competition   

 

Was good to meet and have a chat with you Matt. Your Fabia looked outstanding buddy, especially for a daily   

Spotted a yellow mk2 Fabia Monte Carlo with a Briskoda sticker in the rear window, and with a private plate ,in the arrive and shine area. There was also a lovely race blue Octavia vRS blackline estate which won best in the new car class in the arrive and shine, couldn't find any Briskoda stickers on it though. Oh and a nice silver mk1 Octavia L&K estate inside, no Brisky stickers either. 

 

Definitely will be going again next year

Thanks Jason lots of people showed an interest in it, surprised there wasn't more classics there.

Agreed it was a good show and I made some good purchases. Glad there wasn't any more people as it made it easy to browse stuff and chat to people to get advice without being rushed. God knows why anyone would wanna watch tennis! I shall definitely go again next year.

Thank you for the nice comments Kartman.. Always hard to go up against out and out show cars but think the fabia held its own

Walejase I saw the fabia there Saturday but not on the Sunday

Waxstock 2013 was the 2nd year of the show. Last year there was only 6 people on the arrive and shine and I think they had around 60 there on the Sunday. So from last year a huge improvement in support which I personally think will only grow, it also had stiff competition on with a few other big events being held

It definitely held its own. I was incredibly impressed with how immaculate your interior was, all vrs owner know how much of a pig it is to keep clean!

Hope it continues to grow, it's not too far for me to go to either
